I’ve been reviewing non-fictions for 9 years on betaglyph.com with my friend Nuno. It serves two purposes:

• Selfish: Writing a review is a great forcing function to take notes, go back to them and leave with a better recollection of the book. It also serves as a log to go back to once in a while.
• Selfless: Helping others find great books to read.
